The activities of the “Ain Al Sharqiah Autumn Cultural Festival”, which was held on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the October Liberation War, were colored between art exhibitions, theatrical performances, sports performances and activities for children.

The festival, which was hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Ain al-Sharqiya today in the countryside of Jableh and organized by the Directorate of Culture in Lattakia, witnessed art exhibitions, plastic and hand arts, a heritage exhibition and an origami exhibition under the supervision of the Child Culture Team in the Cultural Center, theatrical performances of the Revolutionary Youth Union, sports performances “Zumba and boxing” under the supervision of coach Yara Ghosoun, and performances Judo was held at Al-Assad Sports Hall in Ain Al-Sharqiya under the supervision of coach Hamza Ali.

The festival also included the playing of musical pieces for Mrs. Fairouz’s songs, under the supervision of the musician “Ali Mahmoud” on the oud, and Khader Lulu on the violin. He accompanied them while playing the artist’s feather, “Mohamed Sobh,” to flow with transparency and sweetness and paint a plastic painting of Mrs. Fairouz that is the product of the fusion of color with music.

Milad Hassan, the director of the center, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the festival is the first and lasts for two days. From kindergarten to high school, in different paintings that tell stories of heroism, loyalty to the homeland, love of the land and life, poetic participations for the Qardaha Cultural Forum, and cultural and health awareness seminars by Dr. Muhammad Ali and human development by Israfil Mayassa.

For her part, “Amal Maan Ali”, the supervisor of the Child Culture Department at the center, stated that their participation in the festival was with models of the art of “origami” paper folding, in shapes and models of colored paper and cork, produced by “50” children, ranging in age from 7 to 13 years, that reflected the children’s imagination. Their love for nature and country.

Hassan Suleiman, the supervisor of the Folk Heritage Exhibition, pointed out the importance of folklore and the need to evoke it in terms of form and spirit when our ancestors invented tools for living and triumphed over their reality, indicating that his exhibition included models and tools for silk products, considering that this industry is one of the ancient Syrian industries, as well as tools used by the farmer in Ancient farming and reaping crops.

The participation of the plastic artist “Yola Muhanna” came with six portraits, whose themes are derived from reality, with childish ideas and cold and hot colors that indicate good and evil, as she saw that her participation in the festival is a state of moral and psychological support for the development of her art.

The exhibition of the artist and school of handicrafts, “Visions of Good” reflects the accuracy and creativity in the manufacture of accessories, in which she mentioned that she used beads, coffee beans and the remains of buttons and chains to form exhibits, indicating that her work requires patience and accuracy to be successful and distinguished.
