According to the Green parliamentary group in the state parliament, the woman from Chemnitz died on Thursday at the age of 64.

Zais was a member of the state parliament from 2014 to 2019.
“She always stood up for her heart issues with great conviction, clear words and full commitment.
Your commitment to better educational opportunities for children and young people as well as your support for refugees will not be forgotten, ”said the parliamentary group executive on Friday in Dresden.
Her empathy and humanity have earned Zais a lot of respect and recognition, even beyond the boundaries of party politics.
