3G, 3G plus or 2G - this is how restaurateurs and organizers think in the future fight against the coronavirus.

This is how the companies in the district of Erding decided.

Erding - Following the decision of the state government to drop the upper limit for visitors as well as mask and distance requirements for 2G (vaccinated, recovered) or 3G plus (vaccinated, recovered, PCR-tested), some cultural sites as well as clubs and restaurants are setting up in the district this regulation.

Other companies, on the other hand, want to continue to rely on the normal 3G rule (vaccinated, recovered, tested) because they do not want to exclude anyone or the advantages outweigh them.

District of Erding: Not everyone wants to switch to 2G or 3G plus

According to managing director Jutta Kistner, the Erding town hall wants to allow all events to take place according to the normal 3G rule this weekend.

After that, however, the town hall would like to orient itself towards the market and could imagine switching to 3G plus.

However, since the town hall does not hold every event itself and also rents the hall to other organizers, there may be different regulations in the future.

The Jakobmayer in Dorfen, however, will switch to 3G plus from Sunday.

This means that the mask requirement could be eliminated, explains managing director Birgitt Binder.

This is also a big step towards normalcy.

The Gasthaus zum Erdinger Weißbräu in Erding initially wants to continue to use the normal 3G rule, as the number of tables only had to be reduced slightly.

In addition, this regulation was well received by the guests.

In addition, a number of questions would have to be clarified before switching to 2G or 3G plus, says Managing Director Mario Pianka.

Club Weekend relies on 2G - cinema and Therme Erding stick to the 3G rule

The weekend in Erding, on the other hand, relies on 2G in the club and restaurant. This is easier to check and offers more security for the guests, especially in the night club. However, the situation is still very vague, many companies still need time, explains managing director David Ritter. Because of these gaps in information, he cannot yet say exactly which regulations will apply in his Kennedy bar in the city center, according to Ritter. In addition, it also depends on the target group which G rule applies in the end.

The Erding thermal baths will stay with 3G for the time being. Authorized signatory Marcus Maier explains that this is the best way, because there are still too many unvaccinated people and the capacity limit is currently not being reached. For the next few weeks there will also be a rapid test station in front of the thermal baths and one in front of the Hotel Victory. There you can have a quick test carried out at your own expense for visiting the thermal baths for 9.99 euros.

The Cineplex cinema in Erding also leaves it at 3G, so a visit with a quick test is still possible.

Spokeswoman Karin Glück explains that you don't want to exclude anyone and that you are happy to be able to decide for yourself which rule to use.

This means that there is always a free space between two households in the cinema, but the mask can be removed during the screening to eat and drink.

If the government stipulated that a switch to 2G or 3G plus had to be made, this would be done immediately, so Glück.

Currently, however, the advantages of the 3G rule predominate.

TSV Erding has not yet made a final decision as to whether 2G or 3G will be implemented in the ice rink.

Tonight, for the gladiators' home game, 3G is still valid.

The Museum Erding continues to rely on the 3G rule.

Tonwerk Dorfen is holding a beer and wine festival from October 14th to 17th.

The 3G plus rule applies to this event.

The festival will take place in the old locksmith's shop, which can finally open after two years.

On Sunday, October 17th, admission is free as there is a family day.

By opting for 3G plus, the Tonwerk Dorfen no longer has an upper limit for visitors.

In addition, there is no need for a mask or distance.
