Tragedy in the Negev: A 3-year-old toddler was electrocuted to death
MDA staff were called to Arara settlement and evacuated the boy to Soroka Hospital in critical condition, but there the medical staff was forced to determine his death. In the last five years, 12 children have died from electric shocks.

A 3-year-old toddler was electrocuted to death today (Friday) at his home in Arara in the Negev.
MDA team called to the scene took him to Soroka Hospital in critical condition when he was, but there had medical staff pronounced dead at the end of resuscitation.
According to the organization "before the safety of children", five years, 12 children died of electrocution, four Bedouin society.
" Bedouin children are at high risk of mortality compared to all Israeli children.
"The fact that many of the Bedouin children live in a low socio-economic situation and in an environment where the infrastructure is poor, endangers their safety and has a heavy blood price," said the organization's director general Orly Silvinger.
"To make a significant difference and prevent unnecessary death, I call on the government to invest in safe infrastructure for the lives of children."

He was brought to a kibbutz in the Jordanian Regional Council for treatment, where after a short time medics and paramedics were forced to determine his death.
"When we arrived at the scene, we were taken to the toddler who was unconscious and civilians performed basic resuscitation operations on him. We immediately continued to perform prolonged resuscitation operations that included massages and souls.
