Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will hold a tripartite meeting in Washington this week with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Ben-Zayed.

The meeting is expected to deal with cooperation between the United States, Israel and the United Arab Emirates as part of the "Abrahamic Agreements", but also on the Iranian issue.

The tripartite working meeting is a significant move by the Biden administration in pushing for the "Abraham Agreements."

When the peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates was signed, one of the two countries' ambitions was to also make joint moves with the United States in the political, security and economic spheres.

He is expected to meet with Vice President Kamla Harris, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Secretary of State Linken.
