Because of Corona, the bars had to remain closed for months.

Now the nightlife can start again: with a little delay, the Zeppelin bar will also open.

Wolfratshausen - The taps are polished, guests can come from this Saturday: The Zeppelin bar in the Wolfratshausen industrial park reopens after a forced break for months due to the corona pandemic.

The landlord, Sepp Schwarzenbach, is a week later than many of his colleagues in the district and in Munich.

“But now we are properly prepared,” he says.

At least almost: he still has to label the sign explaining the rules of the new nightlife.

With the 3G Plus rule: The Zeppelin bar opens its doors again after lockdown

Schwarzenbach stands in front of the entrance gate of his company.

In his back a colleague is cleaning the glass front of the bar on Hans-Urmiller-Ring.

The young restaurateur puts his coffee on a wooden barrel.

The table top, which is actually attached to it, is currently still being painted.

“We only have a few cosmetic jobs left before the weekend,” says Schwarzenbach.

He speaks with a serenity, as if the past few days had been the proverbial calm before the expected storm.

But they weren't.

But on the contrary.

Clubs are allowed to reopen: 3G Plus rule and celebrate like in the past

Some things actually went smoothly.

Starting up the cooling was a breeze, and ordering drinks, Schwarzenbach has stored five hectoliters of light, went smoothly.

But there was one big brake: after more than a year in a state of emergency, the Bavarian state government presented the rules for the reopening of clubs and discos on September 30th - exactly one day before the nightlife should wake up again.

Schwarzenbach called this tight schedule in an interview with our newspaper as “maximum cheek”.

(we report).

Zeppelin in Wolfratshausen: It starts again on Saturday

But now it looks good: the landlord has already found new counter staff.

He has to train four new colleagues because last year some employees moved away because of their studies or changed their careers.

It is a normal fluctuation. But without a concrete prospect of reopening, Schwarzenbach has not hired a replacement in the meantime.

It all comes at once now.

Because the 3G Plus rule applies, he also needs security personnel.

"Somebody has to check that all guests have proof and register," he explains.

Only those who can prove that they have been vaccinated or recovered, or who can show a negative PCR test, can pass the bouncer.

Then you either check in with the Luca app or enter your contact details in the classic way with pen and paper.

Corona: 3Gs and check-in before visiting the club

It's a short formal act. After that, the guests can celebrate as they did before the pandemic.

Safety distances, masks - there is no such thing in night life.

Prerequisite: The aforementioned 3G Plus rule is observed.

For Schwarzenbach, this is exactly an important argument in favor of the reopening.

“I didn't feel like celebrating with a mask and a distance,” he says.

For this reason, he had locked his bar again a few weeks before the last lockdown - although it could have remained open with certain conditions.

“It's just not the same, there is no mood,” he recalls.

But that's exactly what he's hoping for again from Saturday.

Sepp Schwarzenbach wants to open a new club in Wolfratshausen

His Zeppelin bar is prepared for the rush of party-happy guests.

Schwarzenbach would like to present his guests with a few innovations on the drinks menu, a freshly designed area for playing darts and "a few little surprises".

A bigger surprise is planned for the next month: The Tingel-Tangel cultural stage is due to open its doors on November 20th.

Before that, Schwarzenbach is still looking for reinforcements for the team - currently there is not enough staff to run two bars at the same time.

The opening of the new club was actually planned for last spring.

But then a virus intervened - and only now are fans of nightlife enjoying their freedom again.
