"This decision is disrespectful": Martha Sepúlveda's son denounces that his mother was not evaluated to cancel her euthanasia

Federico Redondo, the son of Martha Sepúlveda, the Colombian who was to die by euthanasia this Sunday, reacted with outrage to the decision of the committee that reversed the decision of this devout 51-year-old Catholic.

“This decision is disrespectful, unpresentable.

They did everything in secret and did not notify that they were going to meet.

The treating doctor did not inform us, ”he condemned in an interview with W Radio.

"It is still puzzling that these arbitrary decisions took place just after the news went viral," he added.

Everything was ready for Sunday morning at the Colombian Pain Institute, and Sepúlveda had said she was "happy" and "calm" to end her life.

But the committee of the center decided to suspend the procedure, arguing that the case does not meet "the termination criterion", as it had been considered at first.
