The head of the Municipal Council in Daraya, Marwan Obeid, stated that the council began implementing a project to replace the sewage network in eight streets in the city with a length of 1,500 meters.
In a statement to SANA, Ebeid explained that the start of the project, which is being implemented with the support of the Norwegian Refugee Council, will be from Al-Khawlani Street.
Obaid indicated that the rehabilitation of five new water wells by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent has been completed, and he will soon start installing four electrical transformers in a number of neighborhoods with a capacity of 3500 kVA.
