After the prohibition of a bicycle parade on the Autobahn 4, the initiative Verkehrswende Dresden protested on Sunday in the city area against the planned expansion of the Autobahn.
In the morning around 150 people took part in the bike protest, said spokesman Luca Gowitz.
A second bicycle demonstration was planned for noon in areas that would be affected by an A4 expansion.

The initiative, which is supported by various environmental associations and also Fridays For Future, originally planned a bicycle parade on a section of the A4.
However, the Saxon Higher Administrative Court had forbidden this on the night of Saturday following a complaint by the Autobahn GmbH of the federal government.
It justified this with the fact that dangers for demonstrators and other road users had to be avoided.

More vaccinations during the nationwide campaign week
The number of corona vaccinations should be increased with a week of action - this was successful in Lower Saxony.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Hanover said on Monday that 127,000 people had been vaccinated across the country in the past seven days (13 to 19 September).
That was a total of about 4000 more than in the previous week.
Around 52,300 vaccinations were given in the vaccination centers or by mobile teams.

"We are still of the opinion that the basic right to freedom of assembly also applies on the autobahn," said Gowitz.
The initiative will therefore probably make another attempt in the future for a bicycle parade on the A4.
