Chinese Skywell is expected to begin operations in Israel next month. First with an electric recreational vehicle. The brand arrives in Israel through Kadouri and is managed by Maoz Almagor

Another Chinese brand is starting its steps in the local market.

The marketing of an electric recreational vehicle from Skywell is scheduled to begin next month.

The import is carried out by Kadouri, while the operation will be managed by Maoz Almagor, who managed the Cadillac brand in the UMI Group.

The vehicles have been in the country for several months, now with the said appointment, the company is preparing for the start of full activity.

The start of the activity, expected next month, will focus on a large recreational vehicle and of course fully electric.

The ET5 offers a fairly solid look, and will come here according to a group of balls with full standardization that allows for unlimited sales.

This is in contrast to a mitigating standard, which allows the import of vehicles to Israel without a complete and limited standard for the sale of 400 units.

The said model will be sold with us with the larger battery offered with it (72 kWh) and a declared electric range (by the manufacturer) of 520 km.

The battery feeds an electric motor that produces 204 hp and 32.6 kg, which are transmitted to the front wheels.

Acceleration to 100 km / h is expected to take 7.9 s on the way to a computer-limited 150 km / h and the price has not yet been revealed.

Israel is experiencing a significant increase in the presence of Chinese manufacturers in the car market.

Some of the products are impressive and light years away from the familiar Chinese image.

Some are much less impressive.

To which of them does Skywal belong?

We will know after a local test.
