From Monday, October 11th, corona rapid tests will no longer be free of charge.
In Munich, the chargeable tests are now being offered by various organizations.
An overview:
Munich - Visiting a restaurant, fitness studio or zoo will be expensive for unvaccinated people from today - because the corona rapid tests * required for this now cost.
The test is only free if you cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.
Children under the age of twelve and young people (up to December 31st), students (up to November 30th), pregnant women (up to December 31st), breastfeeding women (up to December 10th), employees and visitors to care facilities and facilities for people with disabilities do not have to pay anything.
The exceptions also include people who have corona symptoms or are in quarantine.
Munich: Some corona test sites are also open on weekends
Most of the test sites are open on weekdays, some also on weekends.
If you have symptoms *, you should do a free PCR test at the doctor or the municipal test center on Theresienwiese.
Important: Rapid tests are of no use if you want to go to clubs and discos - 3G plus applies there (vaccinated, recovered, tested with PCR).
All other institutions can decide whether a quick test * is sufficient.

There is a five test card for 15.20 euros per rapid test and a ten card for 13.30 euros per test.

You can also be checked for Corona in the Galeria Kaufhof.
Medicare offers test centers at Marienplatz (Kaufingerstraße 1-5) and in the branch at Stachus (Karlsplatz 21-24).
You can also get checked in at Galeria Karstadt (Leopoldstraße 82) in Schwabing and at the Galeria Kaufhof on Rotkreuzplatz in Neuhausen.
In the center of the main train station there is a station in Galeria Karstadt where you can have a swab (entrance Schützenstraße).

There has always been a big rush at the Lindwurmstüberl (Lindwurmstrasse 32) in Ludwigsvorstadt.
