The Belgian team is full of talent, old and young alike.
But time after time, she fails to translate that into significant accomplishments.
Tonight (Sunday), the Belgians finished fourth in the League of Nations after a 2-1 loss to Italy and its star, Kevin de Bruyne was very disappointed at the end.
"We have been successful in the past against big teams, but today we are with a lot of new guys," the contact said.
"It's good for them to be able to play against such teams, but unfortunately we lost twice (also in the semi-final against France)."
De Bruyne then provided a very interesting statement that testifies to the great frustration among the Belgians: "In the end it does not matter so much. It is nice to play against Estonia, but Italy is the top of the top. With all due respect, we are just Belgium. We come with a generation. "New, and today we also miss a lot of players. We have to be realistic with the team we have. Italy and France have 22 stars, we don't have that," he concluded sharply.
Now, the Belgian team will wait for Brazil's World Cup qualifiers in South America.
If the Salsa beat both teams, they will oust the Belgians from first place in the FIFA rankings.
Belgium.
Talent is not lacking, but the degrees are missing.
