An earthquake measuring 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale hit Roeder, Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, today, but no injuries or damages were reported.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the National Seismological Center of Tehran University as saying that the tremor occurred at a depth of 18 meters from the surface of the earth.
Yesterday, an earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit the city of Kohrang in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, southwest of Iran.
