Khalil Desuki, a 31-year-old resident of Lod, is the Israeli who was arrested last week in the United Arab Emirates, on suspicion of involvement in the trafficking of tens of kilograms of drugs.

Dubai police today (Sunday) unveiled 500 kilograms of cocaine, seized in an operation known as "Scorpio", and that Dukesi is suspected of involvement in the attempted smuggling.

It is estimated that the value of the drugs is $ 135 million.

Desuki's defense attorneys, Adv. Nick Kaufman and Adv. Uri Ben Natan, who also represented him in the past, will only be allowed to contact him in the coming days, through a local lawyer.

It has not yet been clarified whether there are more Israelis among the other suspects in the affair.
