Fürstenfeldbruck district - The Fürstenfeldbruck IHK regional committee will focus in the coming period on digitization and the promotion of business start-ups and innovations in the district.
The committee members set these top topics at their first working meeting after the IHK election in spring and after the constituent meeting in June.
The entrepreneurs met for a mutual exchange in the Olching brewery at Gut Graßlfing.
At the beginning of the meeting, Olching's mayor Andreas Magg paid a visit to the committee and thanked the members for their voluntary commitment and their commitment to the local economy.
“The district is economically in good shape and the prerequisites are in place for companies to continue to choose the region as their location. But there are also urgent challenges and worries in the economy that we could lose our connection and our competitiveness, ”says Michael Steinbauer, chairman of the IHK regional committee in Fürstenfeldbruck. “During the corona pandemic, we saw how important and promising online retailing, new models of brick-and-mortar retail, home or flex office, a more flexible working time law, as well as mobile and virtual communication are. This requires a digitization concept in which all interest groups are involved,to enable a future-proof digital infrastructure with comprehensive high-speed internet and mobile communications from a possible solution catalog. Unfortunately there has been a lot of catching up to do in this area in the district for years. "
Promotion of business start-ups and innovations
Another top topic for the forthcoming work of the regional committee is to be the promotion of business start-ups and innovations.
"A successful business location lives from a mix of industries and can only be future-proof and crisis-proof if there is a broad economic structure," says Steinbauer.
That is why more business start-ups are needed in the district that bring new business models and products onto the market.
“In the fight against climate change, the hour has come for sustainable and environmentally friendly innovations.
The Fürstenfeldbruck district should not follow this development from the edge of the field, but rather be a place for innovations and start-ups so that the region can continue to be economically successful in the future, ”demands Steinbauer.
