Official: Rockstar Announces Three New GTA Games | Israel today

2021-10-10T16:00:54.610Z

The case will be launched later this year, but it turns out that the company is preparing more surprises for us deep into 2022 and probably beyond that •

One of the best kept secrets in the gaming industry was officially unveiled over the weekend: Rockstar is indeed working on a package that will contain new versions of three classic GTA titles: GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas, released in 2001, 2002 and -2004 respectively.

The package, which will be launched later this year (there is currently no exact date), has been given the somewhat cumbersome name Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, and will be available in editions for all existing consoles and PC.

There is also talk of smartphone versions to be launched in the first half of 2022.

Rockstar, which while not revealing gameplay videos, promises improved graphics and gameplay, but it can still be assumed that these are more upgraded remasters (i.e. the same old engine, only with refinements) than complete remakes developed from scratch.

The launch date, by the way, is not coincidental: right now GTA III is celebrating two decades of existence (!), And the other two games in the package, although completely independent products, were based on the same engine and were considered a kind of extended-extensions from the same family (GTA IV came out As mentioned only in 2008).

Also, one or another crossover between GTA Online and GTA III is expected to take place this fall, but that's not all: GTA V's PlayStation 5 and Xbox X series will be launched in March 2022, and all of this activity only reinforces the likelihood of GTA VI being announced In the coming months (but in our estimation will not reach stores before 2023).

So let's make an order, because of most Roman literature we got a little lost:

• The innovations for GTA III's consoles and computer and its satellite episodes: already this year.

• Smartphone versions of GTA III & Co.: early 2022.

• Next Generation Versions of GTA V: March 2022.

• GTA VI: Announcement in 2022, launch at the earliest in 2023 (our assessment, unofficial).

Pleasant and safe ride.
