The fourth award of the Opus Klassik was celebrated on Sunday with a gala in the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin.
Almost 50 winners had already been named in the various categories.
Désirée Nosbusch was the presenter of the gala, which appeared in the ZDF program from 10:15 p.m. in the evening.
She is the successor to Thomas Gottschalk, who moderated the first three awards.
Berlin - The award was brought to life by record companies, music publishers and concert promoters from the classical music industry in the wake of the abolition of the Echo prizes.
The Chinese pianist Lang Lang was honored for his recording of the Goldberg Variations.
It won the title in the Best Seller of the Year category.
Among the winners were the Bulgarian soprano Sonya Yoncheva (Singer of the Year) and the Polish tenor Piotr Beczala (Singer of the Year).
The Egyptian soprano Fatma Said won the Young Artist of the Year award.
The conductor Marc Albrecht and the composer Olga Neuwirth were also honored.
The violinist Daniel Hope received a special prize from the jury for special achievements.
