Daraa-Sana
Today, the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization in Daraa has partially completed the restoration of Daraa Al-Balad Medical Complex in order to resume providing health services to citizens.
The head of the organization’s branch, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalma, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the branch’s cadres, in cooperation with the Health Directorate, worked for a whole month to restore parts of the Daraa Al-Balad Medical Complex, and it was also provided with a generating set with a capacity of 30 kilovolt-amperes to ensure its reactivation as required.
He pointed out that the complex provides services to about 50 thousand residents of Daraa Al-Balad, Al-Sad Road and the camps, indicating that the restoration work and the supply of the obstetric kit were carried out with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
