Under the patronage of President Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and on the occasion of the forty-eighth anniversary of the October Liberation War, today I celebrated the graduation of a new batch of female students from the Military College for Girls.

On behalf of President al-Assad, Major General, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces was represented in sponsoring the ceremony.

After the representative of the sponsor of the celebration reviewed the honor guard, he continued from an open vehicle with the director of the college to review the courses of the graduate students and the courses participating in the military parade.

The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, and army music was played, the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic, followed by a military parade in which the college courses participated.

The Major General, the representative of the sponsor of the celebration, delivered a speech in which he conveyed to the graduates President al-Assad's congratulations and his wishes for lasting success and excellence in their national missions alongside their comrades in the Syrian Arab Army.

The representative of the sponsor of the celebration affirmed that our country is marching with confidence and power on the path to achieving complete victory over terrorism and restoring security and stability, pointing out that the Syrian Arab Army is writing today, with the blood of its sons, the future of our beloved homeland as desired by our great people.

The Director of the Military College for Girls also gave a speech in which she recommended that the female students maintain training and discipline, and follow up on all new in the field of military sciences and knowledge, so that it would be a good successor for a good predecessor.

After that, the ceremony of handing over and receiving the flag took place. The graduates took the military oath, followed the order of success, and named the course after the martyr Colonel Eng. Wahiba Jawdat Al-Ali in appreciation of the martyrdom and in honor of the righteous martyrs. Symbolic gifts were distributed to the first graduates.

The first student presented the course shield to the general representative of the sponsor of the celebration. The course shield was presented to the families of the martyr as a token of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, and the celebration was concluded with the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic.
