A shareholder north monsoon is affecting southern China.
It is expected that under the combined influence of it and the tropical storm Compasses, winds will strengthen along the coast of Guangdong later today.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, Tropical Storm Compasses gathered about 610 kilometers northeast of Manila and is expected to move west or west-northwest at a speed of about 22 kilometers per hour towards the Luzon Strait.

The Transport Department stated that the slow line of Texaco Road (towards Ma Tau Pa Road) near Wing Tak Street has been closed due to a water main burst.
Motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes.
Vehicles travelling along Texaco Road cannot turn left into Yong Tak Street.
