Oberneuching - The Schützengesellschaft (SG) Edelweiß Oberneuching was founded exactly 100 years ago.

The anniversary was celebrated in the Alter Wirt clubhouse with a gala evening, a photo show and entertaining discussions.

The second part of the celebration will begin with a parish fair on Sunday, October 17th.

A service in the parish church of St. Martin started the celebrations. After that, the company came together in the Altes Wirt in accordance with corona. Chairman Hans Buchmann reviewed the history of the association. The SG was founded where the party was going on, even if the old innkeeper was still called Kagerer at the time. The board of directors consisted of Johann Hainz, Jakob Kagerer, Kaspar Neumayr and Ludwig Beck. First of all, the SG bought a used room nozzle. The first shooting range was in the room next to the inn. In 1923 the SG celebrated its first flag consecration. The old riflemen in Niederneuching acted as sponsors. Eight years later, the SG acquired their first rifle chain.

There was also theater.

The theater group "Schützengesellschaft Edelweis Tatzlwurm" was founded as early as 1930.

Because of the Second World War, club life was suspended from 1940 to 1950.

Only then did the riflemen dared to start again under chairman Kaspar Neumayr.

A year later, the 30 year old founding party was on the program.

Around 1960 the shooting range was moved upstairs in the hall.

There were five shooting ranges there.

In 1963 Luise and Alois Wenninger bought the inn, including the stable and barn.

The riflemen, however, kept their home there and joined Schützengau Erding in 1968.

That was the beginning of the Gaurunde and the section shooting.

In 1971 the 50-year-old founding party rose.

Because renovations were taking place in the inn, the shooting range was moved to the barn and the beet cellar.

Four years later, however, the stable was converted into a small hall, and the SG was able to set up five shooting ranges again - although they had to be dismantled again and again.

The SG celebrated the 60-year-old founding party, including the consecration of the flag, together with the Oberneuching warrior and soldier comradeship.

A large marquee was set up on Kreuzbergstrasse for this purpose.

15 years later, the 75th anniversary celebrations rose in the tent in the courtyard.

In 2000, the shooters set up seven shooting ranges in the basement of the new guest house.

The 90th anniversary celebrations took place in 2011.

Otto Neumayr showed a richly illustrated photo show from the past decades, which was very well received.

SG boss Buchmann also honored the kings during the festive evening.

Acting marksman is Reinhardt Walter.

Marianne Kressirer can decorate herself with the sausage wreath.

Peter Diehl was named pretzel king.

Shooting evening is every Friday at the Alten Wirt.

Parish fair

The riflemen invite you to the parish fair on Sunday, October 17th, in the Alte Tenne in Eder am Holz (municipality of Moosinning).

From 11 a.m. there is a morning pint with veal sausage, from 6 p.m. a Hoagartn rises.

The reigning Upper Bavarian joke master Florian Fink will lead through the musical evening.
