The police in Stralsund are investigating two 16 and 18 year old youths who are said to have seriously injured a man over the weekend.
The suspects are accused of dangerous bodily harm and violation of the weapons law, said a police spokeswoman on Monday.
The incident is said to have occurred on Saturday night during a violent confrontation between two groups in Sundhagen (Western Pomerania-Rügen).
Sundhagen - According to previous investigations, a total of nine men between the ages of 14 and 35 had clashed.
The 35-year-old suffered life-threatening cuts to his stomach, and two other men were slightly injured.
The seriously injured man had been operated on and is now out of danger, said the spokeswoman.

In a raid on suspected members of a drug gang, the police in Duisburg seized a total of 100 kilograms of narcotics, presumably marijuana.
Five men (23, 29, 36, 40, 53 years old) and one woman (21) were in custody, as the public prosecutor in Essen announced on Monday.

Eight people were injured in two traffic accidents in the Dachau district.
Two cars collided near Altomünster, the police announced on Sunday.
A 29-year-old car driver had come into the opposite lane on State Road 2047, where she collided head-on in a right-hand bend with an oncoming car.
The 29-year-old was flown to a hospital with serious injuries.

According to the police, three young people have broken into around 180 apartments in a holiday complex in Lower Bavaria since September 2020.
Among other things, the two men and the woman between the ages of 18 and 21 stole laptops, televisions, jewelry and watches with a total value of around 5,000 euros from the holiday park in Bischofsmais (Regen district), a police spokesman said on Monday.

The alerted officers were able to arrest the two suspects.
The 16-year-old also injured an officer.
Both suspects were questioned and later released.
"One stabbing weapon and one striking weapon" were confiscated from the two.
The reason for the dispute is still unclear, it said.
