When Frankie (97) and Royce (98) got married it was quickly during a short leave from the military during World War II, and the two did not even get a wedding dress or photographic documentation of the exciting day of their lives. They have a vow renewal event - filmed of course

The demand for love never ends:

77 years after saying "I do" for the first time, hurriedly and without real celebrations due to the war, a loving couple from the state of Iowa in the US renewed their vows, actually held a real wedding for the first time, and finally got photographed documentation .

When Frankie (97) and Royce (98) King exchanged vows for the first time 77 years ago, the canopy was quickly held when Royce took a short leave of absence from the Army during World War II, where he served in the Pacific sector, and the two did not even get photographed documentation of the exciting day of their lives.

When the Iowa hospice staff helping the couple heard that the two had no photos from their wedding day, they decided to surprise the young couple of souls and arrange a wedding ceremony and vow renewal for them, this time of course everything will be documented and photographed.

And indeed it was.

The blushing bride, who at her first wedding did not even get to wear a wedding dress, received a fashionable patch about two weeks ago and wore a vintage dress to her wedding ceremony with the groom flaunting his Air Force uniform.

In the best tradition the groom was not allowed to see the bride before the canopy, and he was privileged to meet her only after being led to their backyard which became for a few hours their private paradise with the help of the hospice staff.

These of course were moved from class to tears and made sure to document everything in an exciting series of photos.
