Under Typhoon Signal No. 8 in Tseung Kwan O last Saturday (9th), a bizarre robbery occurred in which a youngster gang robbed a drug dealer.
A 24-year-old man was attacked by two boys in Yu'anli and robbed a handbag containing 22 packets of cocaine and about 3,000 yuan in cash.
Suspecting that the victim had nothing to do, he called the police for help and said he was robbed. He later intercepted one of the boys at Tseung Kwan O Hospital.
Police officers arrived at the scene and after preliminary investigations, the 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery, but the male victim was also arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
After further investigation, the police arrested another 15-year-old boy suspected of robbery in Tsui Lam Village yesterday (10th). The arrested person was detained for investigation.
