A fire broke out today (Monday) in Mevo Beitar Park, which is part of Begin Park in the Jerusalem mountains.
Eight fire crews are operating at the scene, with the assistance of two firefighting planes and a staff of KKL-JNF employees. Fire control has not yet been achieved.
Remember, only last weekend a fire broke out in the same place while today in the afternoon it resumed.

Earlier today, a fire broke out in the Givot Forest in Gush Etzion.
The firefighters arrived at the scene and after a few hours the fire was brought under control.
The findings indicate that it was an arson.
"Firefighters with the help of firefighting planes from the Elad Squadron prevented the fire from spreading beyond Road 367 in the direction of Bat Ayin," said Rabbi Reshef Kfir Cohen, adding:
As you may recall, there have been a number of deliberate arsons in the vicinity of Givot Forest recently.
