Dozens of Palestinians participated in a solidarity stand in the city of Hebron in the West Bank today in support of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, especially the sick and hunger strikers, and to denounce its crimes against them.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil organized by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Prisoners Club in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of the prisoners on hunger strike and chanted slogans calling for the immediate release of the prisoners who suffer from difficult conditions that threaten their lives in the occupation prisons.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
