At about 4 pm today (11th), the police received a report that an old man called for help repeatedly in a unit of Yin Tak House, Yin Lai Court, Lai King Shan Road, Kwai Chung.
Afterwards, the police tried to contact the informant again to no avail, so they went to find out what happened, and summoned firefighters to help break into the house. They were shocked to reveal that an old man in the unit had multiple stab wounds on his body and was unconscious.
The ambulance immediately rushed the old man to Princess Margaret Hospital for rescue.
The police later contacted the old man's wife and took her to the police car for further investigation.
The police blocked the entrance and exit of the building and later arrested a man and seized 2 fruit knives on his body.
