Sad ending:
"Oz" actor Granville Adams passed away at just 58 years old.
"Good night, sweet prince. A convoy of heavenly angels will sing to you at your rest," series creator Tom Fontana praised him in a post he posted last night (Sunday) to his Instagram.
Adams died after a long battle with cancer.
He starred as a star in all 6 seasons of "Oz," the successful drama and crime series from HBO.

Earlier this year, Fontana, in partnership with "Oz" actor Dean Winters, embarked on a fundraising campaign for Adams and his family to help pay for the actor's heavy medical expenses.
The campaign managed to raise $ 99,800,000 when it exceeds the target amount set at 69,500.
"As many of you probably know," Fontana wrote in the GoFundMe page he opened, "our friend and brother Granville Adams was diagnosed with cancer. Within a few months, medical expenses skyrocketed to astronomical sums. "We want to support him, gather around him and show him love by helping him pay off his debts," he wrote.
