Azeri Foreign Ministry: Iran claims we have terrorists? To look around Israel today

2021-10-11T16:50:44.104Z

Baku office spokeswoman Leila Abdullaeva attacked Tehran: "They are running a baseless defamation campaign against us" • On the government of "Tehran executioner" Ibrahim Raisi:

Azerbaijan is fed up with Iran's allegations of an "Israeli hostile presence" in its territory.

After the commander of the Iranian Border Guard, Ahmad Ali Godrazi, hinted that Israel was active in Turkey and Azerbaijan - it seems that in Baku's case, water has reached the soul.

And today (Monday) Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Leila Abdullaiba launched a declaratory offensive against Iran stating that Baku - apparently - decided to start returning to Tehran in the same currency.

"Iranian claims about the presence of terrorists in our territory, as part of a defamation campaign, are baseless," Abdullah said of Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian's accusations that "terrorist forces should be expelled from the region," when he was referring to Israel.

"Our advice to those looking for terrorists is to take a good look around them," a spokeswoman for the Azeri Foreign Ministry said.

"We strongly reject the Iranian Foreign Ministry's allegations."

"We have already said during the Second Carbach War and we emphasize even today that there are no terrorists in Azerbaijan. In general, as a country that has suffered from terrorism, there has never been a place for terrorists in Azerbaijan."

Last Tuesday, it was first reported in "Israel Today" that after the attempt to assassinate the Israelis in Cyprus, the Azeris began to take action against the pro-Iranians in the country.

Among other things, activists have been arrested for trying to advance the teachings of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, across Azerbaijan.

Beyond that, Iran has admitted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has decided to close the branch of Iran's supreme leader in Azerbaijan, headed by Aliyakbar Augenad.

"Our army numbers more than one hundred thousand soldiers and we do not need mercenaries to defeat Armenia," Abdullah continued.

"Surprisingly, these accusations were not heard from Iran during the war, nor were such concerns voiced until the new administration came to power (in Iran) after the war. This is an anti-Azerbaijani campaign that is in no way beneficial to Iran."

The issue of Iranian bipartisanship has plagued Azerbaijan in recent days.

The Azerbaijani "caliber" agency, which is close to President Ilham Aliyev, yesterday revealed harsh accusations in Baku that Iran invaded Azerbaijan territory during the second Karbach war.

"All these Iranian accusations started only because Baku decided to stop the illegal passage of Iranian trucks into Azerbaijan, and that we managed to free the territories from the Armenian occupation," the Azeri foreign ministry spokeswoman concluded.
