A driver drove into a horse-drawn carriage near Hanau and seriously injured a 67-year-old man.
On Sunday at noon, the 74-year-old driver hit the carriage from behind for reasons unknown, the police said on Monday.
The 67-year-old coachman was seriously injured and flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
Hanau - There was also an eleven-year-old boy on the carriage, who was thrown onto the street as a result of the collision, but remained unharmed.
