An indictment was filed today (Monday) against a young man from Ofakim for car theft and reckless driving.
In the documentation of the incident, the young man was seen stealing the vehicle at a gas station, while the owner filled the tires with air.
The young man got into the motor vehicle - and fled.
Despite the car owner's screams, the young man continued to drive fast and even collided with the truck and caused damage to the stolen vehicle, according to the indictment.
After receiving the report and the vehicle number, the Ofakim and Be'er Sheva police officers began searches in the area, following which the suspect was arrested.

The deputy commander of the Ofakim station, Corporal Moshe Klein, said that the serious incident "was carried out boldly on the negative path."
