The police checked and arrested a woman who had been wanted with six arrest warrants in Saarbrücken's main train station.
The 23-year-old was sentenced to fines last year, among other things, for theft and forgery of documents, which she has not yet paid, the police said on Monday.
Together with several fines, it is an outstanding amount of around 4500 euros.
Saarbrücken - Since the woman could not raise the amount on Saturday either, she was taken to a correctional facility.
According to police, she is expected to spend the next 226 days in jail if she cannot pay the money.
