Holzkirchen -

Arnulf Schuchmann will take over the chairmanship of the management of Fabian Amini at Bayerische Oberlandbahn GmbH and Bayerische Regiobahn GmbH with effect from November 15, 2021.

He leaves the group to pursue new professional challenges.

Arnulf Schuchmann has been the technical managing director of both companies since July 2020 and until now managed them together with Fabian Amini.

The companies operating under the Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) brand are subsidiaries of the Transdev Group, Germany's largest private mobility provider.

Amini has acted as Technical Director since 2015.

When the then BOB boss Bernd Rosenbusch switched to the Münchner Verkehrsverbund (MVV) in 2018, Amini was appointed chairman of the management board.

"We very much regret that Fabian Amini will leave our group, but we can understand the personal desire for a career change", says Tobias Heinemann, spokesman for the management of Transdev GmbH.

“I am convinced that Arnulf Schuchmann will continue to lead the company successfully into the future.

With him we have an excellent expert on the rail industry on board who will further advance the Bayerische Regiobahn brand. "

"I would like to thank all of my colleagues at BRB and Transdev for the good and successful cooperation and I am pleased to know that the BRB is in good hands with Arnulf Schuchmann and a great team," says Fabian Amini.

Bayerische Oberlandbahn GmbH and Bayerische Regiobahn GmbH are together the largest private railway companies in Bavaria and currently operate the Chiemgau-Inntal, Oberland, Ammersee-Altmühltal and Ostallgäu-Lechfeld networks under the Bayerische Regiobahn brand with around 30 million passengers annually (before Corona).

The Berchtesgaden-Ruhpolding network will be added to the timetable change in December 2021.
