The drug trial against the so-called cocaine gang at the Neubrandenburg district court continues as planned, but has been delayed a little.
Judge Henning Kolf rejected the defense lawyers' requests to break off the proceedings on Monday.
However, the indictment has not yet been read out.
Neubrandenburg - Several lawyers complained that about 30 pages were missing from their files, which made their defense more difficult. After an examination, the chamber admitted that there had been a copy error at the regional court. After renewed requests by the defense attorney to break off the trial, Kolf postponed the hearing to October 22, when the indictment was also to be read out.
The four accused men, aged 39, 49, 59 and 59, are accused of drug trafficking and violating the gun law.
The suspects from the Mecklenburg Lake District and Schwerin are said to have fetched up to 7.7 kilograms of cocaine and other large quantities of narcotics in prepared cars from the Netherlands and traded them as a cocaine gang.
They were caught in a raid by the State Criminal Police Office in November 2020, during which cocaine was also found.
Three defendants have since been in custody.

The case is related to a spectacular data interception operation by French investigators.
In 2020, they cracked a data network - the so-called Encrochat network - that was previously considered bug-proof.
This enabled investigators across Europe to tap the cell phones of hundreds of suspected criminals.
Several processes are running nationwide in this context.
The procedure in Neubrandenburg is not expected to be completed until 2022.
