SPD politician and health expert Karl Lauterbach has already called for a new federal-state conference to partially tighten existing corona rules.
The 7-day incidence is higher than it has been in more than two weeks.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) stated the value of new infections with Corona * on Monday morning (October 11, 2021) as 66.5.
For comparison: the previous day the value was 66.1, a week ago it was 64.7 (previous month: 82.8).
The health authorities in Germany reported 3111 new corona infections to the RKI within one day.
This is evident from the numbers that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 4:21 am.
A week ago the value was 3088 infections.

Corona case numbers in Germany: More than 3000 new infections
According to the new information, seven deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours.
A week ago there were also seven deaths.
The RKI has counted 4,313,384 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.

The number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - the most important parameter for a possible tightening of the restrictions - was last stated by the RKI on Friday (October 8th, 2021) at 1.67.
The comparative value of the previous week was about the same.
Corona in Germany: the number of deaths is increasing slightly
A nationwide threshold value from when the situation can be viewed critically is not provided for the incidence of hospitalization, among other things because of large regional differences.
The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 4,095,900.
The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 94,209.
