Corona Projector: Severe morbidity will be reduced, but we will not get out of the fourth wave quickly

Prof. Salman Zarqa said that the Ministry of Health is optimistic about the decline in morbidity, but announced that the fourth wave is still here.

Corona projector Prof. Salman Zarqa said today (Monday) that the Ministry of Health is "very optimistic when we see a decline in the number of positives and the percentage of positives for Corona.

Zarqa added that Israel will not leave the fourth wave too soon.

"We learned from the third wave not to go out fast. Our working assumption is that as there is morbidity in the world of new variants we need to see how to keep the fifth wave away."

Regarding the easing of the corona guidelines, Zarqa added that there are currently no easing of the issue, and there are no plans to convene the corona cabinet to discuss such.

He said the cancellation of the green mark was not on the table.

"Gradually we will see relief and return to a routine of life."
