We all want to know what really happens after death: is it the absolute end or is there life after death?
A man from California claims that there is indeed life after me - and they look so tempting that for a moment it was easy to give up the offer he received to return to life on earth.
Keith Thompson, a California writer, said he went through a near-death experience in his 20s when he drowned while being swept into the deep waters of one of Hawaii's beaches.
The near-death experience sometimes occurs during clinical death.
People who have experienced clinical death tell of an out-of-body experience that includes, among other things, a feeling of pleasure, seeing a bright white light, being drawn to a tunnel and meeting close relatives who have died.
Thus, one by one, Thompson's near-death experience was described - only he added that an encounter with a "foreign presence" in the sky gave him the choice: to return or stay, that is, to continue in the world of life or to move on to the life after?

When he was a guest on the Coast to Coast podcast, Keith Thompson recalled that when Teva saw himself coming out of his body. He said: "I have never had an out-of-body experience, but I felt like I was going through one when I looked down and there was a man lying in the water - and that man was me. I felt quiet, calm, peaceful." Thompson said he later found himself "in a place very similar to what Christians call heaven." He added: "I interacted with a deep sense of presence that seemed to be with me all my life. That presence said, 'What will you choose?' And I realized that the decision is mine: will I stay here, in this infinite place of inconceivable beauty - or will I continue with the choice I made to be born. "
"The question I finally asked myself was 'Is it possible to get it back there?'".
Thompson explained that he realized then that he had to try and take the comfort he found after death back to life on Earth.
Finally he chose to return: "I asked to return. The presence I contacted said: 'Permission is granted'. The next thing I remember is that I went back to my body and found myself thrown on the rocks, close to my friends on the beach."

The podcast also described the other things he experienced after his "death": "There were other elements, classic elements of the death threshold experience. There was a quick and panoramic view of my life, there was a sense that everything was connected ... there was light and a tunnel. I saw light beings beyond description. "I saw and interacted with my grandparents, the family babysitter."
When asked if now, many years after that incident, he regrets his decision to return to life, he replied: "Absolutely not. I can not think of a single moment where I said to myself 'I should have stayed there'."
