Maccabi Rishon LeZion announced today (Monday) that Joe Alexander has signed a contract until the end of the season. The forward / center, who will celebrate 35 in two months, will open his sixth season in the league and his debut in the orange uniform is expected in the next round.
Rishon LeZion will be Alexander's fourth team in Israel after previously playing two terms at Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of them under Guy Goodes who will coach him in the near future, two terms at Hapoel Holon and a short period at Nahariya in the media. He opened last season and averaged 13 games. Of 12.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
After being released from Nahariya, Alexander Lagis moved to Korean side Zheongjo, whom he left after three games.
