If her son suffers from post-corona: "Two hours after hospitalization I had almost no children" | Israel today

Hannah Cohen's son Aloro, who recovered from Corona, complained last week of fever and sore throat - and from that point on, his condition began to worsen despite antibiotic treatment • In a Facebook post she shared: "I told the doctor it was Corona and asked for more tests" • Hours later, They told her at the hospital: "You saved your son"

"This post was written with a shaking hand and its whole purpose is to save lives," Hannah Cohen Aloro began the post she posted yesterday (Sunday) on Facebook after her son was hospitalized for post-coronary heart disease (PIMS), which aims to encourage parents to be vigilant about their children's health.

According to Cohen Aloro, a month ago her entire family fell ill in Corona.

"Roi and I were vaccinated, we got sick and it was not easy at all, but the children - not all vaccinated - took it in stride and really small," she wrote.

"I kept thinking to myself, if kids take it so small - why vaccinate?".

Cohen Aloro later wrote that she had questions and concerns about vaccines, and then noted that last Saturday night her son Amatzia called from the yeshiva and informed her that he was not feeling well and was suffering from fever and sore throat.

"He had swelling of the lymph nodes in his neck," she wrote.

The next morning they came for a check-up by a doctor who prescribed him antibiotic treatment and sent only a blood test.

According to Cohen Aloro, "The blood tests came back reasonable. The next day the antibiotic did not help, and I asked for a referral to the emergency room. Even at the emergency room they were not impressed and suggested that we might continue antibiotics at home for another day or two.

"The next day there was no improvement and I demanded to talk to the doctor (by phone because I was home) and I said to her, 'Listen, I'm just a mother and a doctor. You have a degree and you studied for years, please listen to me. And she said to me,' I'm listening. ' To her I feel like they're missing something here, that he's recovering from a corona and it's certainly related to that. I have a theory, I explained to her, and she listened. "In the back, which is his problem; and Amatzia, he had such an inflammation just when he was a baby. She told me, 'I'm doing more tests and I'll update.' I felt she was listening to me. '

Hours later, Cohen Aloro said in a post, they arrived at the Assuta Hospital in Ashdod for intensive care.

"The doctor greeted me and said, 'Mom, you saved your son's life.' Incomprehensible.

"We had a miracle - and he's alive. It's called PIMS, it's a post-corona disease I will not explain here because I do not understand enough, but it is terrible and dangerous and can lead to death. "

Towards the end of the post Cohen Aloro added: "Understand from the bottom of my heart why people are debating whether to vaccinate children and youth. I was completely there. And all the green character and isolation, I know, really. But after seeing my son go to me - and thank you, thank you That will also come out of it completely and unharmed - I do not think the vaccine is perfect and has no side effects I just think it saves lives.

And life is the most important thing.

"If your children and adolescents have recovered from Corona in recent weeks - be really vigilant. Fever, inflammation, rash, any swelling. Go to the doctor and tell him to do tests. Tell PIMS! Early detection and in this time the only way to save lives."
