Bnei Herzliya managed tonight (Monday) to surprise Hapoel Tel Aviv in Drive In with a super dramatic 76:79 after in fact the Reds omitted a victory they already had in their hands.
The Reds already led 63:72, 5 minutes to go on the paved road to victory, but then guest center Cinano Onoako (20 points and 12 rebounds) brought Herzliya back and later, Chris Bab put it up 76:77, 18 seconds to go.
In the closing seconds, Tokoto missed from the other side, Bab scored two more from line 8 and Schuldbrand finished the business with a three-pointer from the corner.
Herzliya starts with a big away win.
