Because a woman from Munich wanted to work on her driving skills, she did a few practice laps in the car without a driver's license - right in front of the Poingen police.

Poing - A learner driver had chosen the wrong place for her practice drive: namely the traffic training area directly behind the Poingen police station.

The police announced that they found out about a vehicle on the premises last Saturday at around 6.15 p.m.

So the officers looked behind their building once.

They found a VW Polo on the road training area, which is closed to motor vehicles.

A 28-year-old woman from Munich was at the wheel.

As it turned out during the inspection, she drove without a license.

She is currently a learner driver and therefore wanted to do a few practice laps in the car, she told the officials.

She is now awaiting a preliminary investigation into driving without a license.

The car itself belonged to her 29-year-old passenger.

Since she had made her Polo available to the learner driver, proceedings are now pending against her because of the authorization to drive without a license.
