Long-running bike path

Eitting - A cycle path from Eitting to Erding is very popular with the citizens. But the chances of this are currently bad. Eitting - A cycle path from Eitting to Erding is very popular with the citizens.

But the chances of this are currently bad.

But also better bus connections to the airport in Erdinger Moos as well as the containment of aircraft noise moves the Eittinger company.

This was shown by the well-attended citizens' meeting on Friday evening in the school gym.

“The road to Erding is a killer road,” Peter Gaab is convinced. In the Eitterer's opinion, “she is too narrow and hunched over. Two trucks hardly fit next to each other ”. His wish: to prepare the road, expand it and also create a cycle path. Companies whose large vehicles often use this road should also contribute to the costs. "Then we have to set up a toll station," joked Mayor Reinhard Huber, but took the matter very seriously. As long as the S-Bahn ring closure and the northern bypass are not completed, Huber fears there will be no cycle path to Erding. However, the district is responsible, since it is a district road. “There is a cycle path concept in the district,” Huber informed the visitors.

Gaab also said that the potential S-Bahn stop should also be reached by means of a cycle path after the construction of the ring closure.

City hall chief Huber speculated that the so-called rescue route at the S-Bahn station could then be expanded.

But that is still a long way off.

District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer commented.

"The Eitting - Erding cycle path and vice versa has been an issue for over 15 years," said the district chief.

"But buying land is incredibly difficult," he said.

And no bike path can be built without any further reason.

“There is no expropriation for sidewalks or bike paths,” he clarified.

Huber would love to create a cycle path from Gaden to Oberhummel (Freising district). But even here, according to the mayor, it fails for a lack of reason. "We had talks about the land purchase, but we don't get anything," he had to admit. The plan was to build the cycle path up to the Isar bridge. The bridge itself is to be rehabilitated, but it is the responsibility of Freising.

Nicole Huber from Eitting would like a better bus connection to the airport. The journey from Eitting currently takes around one to two hours, including changes. According to the mayor, the problem is the lack of interest in such a bus connection. According to Huber, the connection between Niederding and the airport is very good. But if you take the bus from Eitting to Niederding, the connecting bus in Niederding is already gone. Mayor Huber again pointed out the lack of demand. “I can't umananda schicka an empty bus. The need must be there. Very clearly, ”he clarified.

The flight routes over Eitting again encounter Gaab angry. "You can partially naufglanga, you can bring them down," he said to some of the planes flying over Eitting. “We cannot influence that,” replied Huber, but referred to the DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH website at www.dfs.de. Complaints can be made there. It is important to note the date, the time, the path (north or south) and the type of aircraft. “At 1 o'clock in the morning they rush up there with a huge crash. They fly wild west ”, said Gaab and demanded that the community take action here and seek a conversation with those responsible. “We can try it,” Huber admitted.

A more gratifying task for the town hall chief was honoring four long-time active members of the Eittingen fire brigade.

Markus and Werner Scharl have each been loyal to the Eitting fire brigade for 25 years.

Anton Maier has been with the Eittinger Floriansjüngern for four decades, just as long as Anton Waldhauser with the Gadener Wehr.

Huber congratulated the quartet and presented gifts.
