The tenth round in South America in the World Cup qualifiers took place tonight, and although not too many goals were scored, it scored a number of points in the battle for the five tickets to Qatar (four automatic, fifth place leading to playoff games).
In Colombia, the local team parted ways with the South American home leader, Brazil, after a zero draw.
For the hosts it was a missed opportunity to climb to third place, and for the Salsa it was a first point loss, having won all nine of their games so far.
However, the first place is still theirs, easily.

The second at home, Argentina, crushed Uruguay unconditionally, 0: 3.
It was Leo Messi who scored first (38) from Giovanni Lou Celso's header, and even before the half it was Raul de Paul who doubled the lead (44).
The Argentine celebration continued into the second half as well, when Chelsea failed to score a second, this time for Inter striker Lautro Martinez (62).
At the end of ten games, Argentina is still without a loss, and six points away from Brazil, with both missing a game (the meeting between them exploded).
