Prior to the discussion of 40 signatures in the Knesset, MKs from the Labor Parties and Meretz are meeting today (Monday) for faction meetings. Against the background of the Elazar Stern riot, The Labor Party and the Minister of Transport were asked whether she thought Stern should withdraw his candidacy for the post of chairman of the agency, and replied that she would consider it.
Michaeli added: "As much as I understand that his intentions are not bad, we must understand that these statements are not politically correct. We must do everything we can to protect victims of sexual assault. This is our commitment."

The minister commented on her Twitter account yesterday on the intelligence minister's remarks: "Elazar Stern probably really thinks an anonymous complaint is meant to defame or torpedo, but misses the fact that still, a woman who chooses to complain risks the defamation and consequences of exposure. "Misses the way we are still exposed to harm and attacks following the exposure of the harm to us."

Following the interview in which Colette Avital revealed that she was sexually harassed by Shimon Peres, the Minister of Transportation said: "I believe in the victims, I believe in Colette Avital."
As stated, the Knesset will hold a debate today at 16:00 with the participation of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett under the title "The anti-social budget that raises taxes and harms the weak."
The initiator of the debate is MK Uri Maklev (Torah Judaism) who obtained 40 signatures of Knesset members from the opposition as required by law in order to oblige the Prime Minister to participate in the debate, listen and respond to Knesset members' claims.
