Due to the corona, the Open Ateliers campaign in Moosburg took place a little differently this year - but it was no less worth seeing.

- A foray through the creative places in the city of Moosburg, as we knew it from previous years, wasn't it this time.
Nevertheless, last weekend 27 artists presented their works as part of the Open Ateliers campaign: In the auditorium of the Vhs Moosburg and in the Zehentstadel there were sculptures, paintings, architectural models and photographs to be viewed.

Many of the artists had used the lockdown in the past year to turn to new topics.
Like Klaus Kuhn, for example, who had to close his photo studio due to the corona.
“A friend advised me to concentrate on the nature on my doorstep,” he says.
And that's what he did.
Fauna and flora in the Isar floodplains around Moosburg were captured in black and white photos.
A meeting point for the active
Brigitte Deus-Neumann emphasized that the open studios are always a meeting point among the active.
Her serial work with flower motifs in macro shots was able to continue despite the restrictions, said the Moosburger.
Markus Kasper, too, was always close to what was happening in nature with the lens.
The visitors stood in amazement in front of his sensitive animal motifs, such as a deer in front of the backdrop of colorful field flowers.
With Christoph Weickmann, it is also the animals that he breathes life into in his expressive clay sculptures.
In the Zehentstadel they were in dialogue with each other in the form of monkeys, dogs and toads.
They were observed by the “guardian” of nature, whom Weickmann shaped like an ancient mythical creature who watches over everyone.
In the impressive wooden relief by Rudy Kocych, the viewer saw finely carved animal figures on closer inspection.

For the Moosburg old town sponsors and the marketing cooperative as organizers, this year's open studios were definitely a challenge.
Mouth and nose protection, contact data collection and the wearing of a special entry wristband were required by every visitor.
The traditional Atelier-Café has been dispensed with this year, said Daniela Eiden, board member of the Altstadtförderer.
“A few months ago we didn't know what the current rules would look like.
It's a shame, ”she regretted.
The new Moosburg art calendar “Historical Places” was also presented as part of the exhibition.
The sale of the calendar with motifs from the Dreirosenstand has already started.
It is available in numerous Moosburger shops.
