Penzberg - On the third Bundesliga matchday, the reigning German champions TSV Weilimdorf and national goalkeeper Philipp Pless were guests in the wave pool hall.
“That was advertising for futsal,” summed up head coach Andreas Brunner after the 5-8 defeat against TSV Weilimdorf.
In an action-packed game, the Penzbergers were able to convince, especially in the first half.
After conceding an early goal (3rd), the Wolves took over the game with committed duels and a strong mileage.
Marco Hiry (8th and 19th), Samir Azizi (12th) and Hakan Düzgün (15th) turned the game in Penzberger's favor with their goals and put the wave pool hall in ecstasy.
Coach Brunner also emphasized the defensive performance of his team: "We defended the standards well, the Weilimdorfer couldn't think of anything."

Utmälleki with strong performance
Goalkeeper Christian Utmälleki showed an excellent performance in the first half and kept his team in the game with one brilliant save after the other: For example, when the score was 2-1, the 39-year-old parried a penalty from Josip Bozinovic.
"It was fun to annoy the German champions at least a bit in the first half," laughed Utmälleki after the game.
He also got words of praise from the national goalkeeper Philipp Pless: "Especially in the first half, Utmälleki was strong."

In the second half, however, the double burden of most players took its toll.
Players like Fazlican Verep, Marco Hiry or Sean Erten were already used the day before in their respective teams' soccer games.
The Weilimsdorf players train five times a week and practice the sport professionally.
This difference came to light in the second twenty minutes, when the Penzbergers ran out of strength.
The reigning German champions scored five goals within five minutes.
Josip Cacic managed a flawless hat trick (24th, 25th and 25th) for TSV Weilimdorf.
"If you are not constantly on the opponent, his individual class comes into play," said Brunner, commenting on the collapse of his team in the second half.
Too many goals conceded
Josip Bozinovic (33.) increased to 4: 7 before Samir Azizi scored his second goal to 5: 7.
The final point was Ivan Ivankovic from Weilimdorf (35th) with his goal to make it 5-8.

Head coach Andreas Brunner is very satisfied with a yield of four points from three games.
The FCP trainer still has to think about a few things for the upcoming games: The Wolves have already conceded 14 goals in just three games, the counter situations are not played out consistently at Bundesliga level and another slump after half-time must be avoided.
