Serbia reiterated that, under its current leadership, it will adhere to military neutrality and will not join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO” and will not support sanctions against Russia.
Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said in an interview with RIA Novosti Agency that as long as Aleksandar Vucic remains in the post of Serbian president and as long as I work in the Serbian security services, Serbia will not become a member of NATO and we will take great care to maintain our military neutrality.
He added that Serbia will never support sanctions or hostile hysteria against Moscow, as history has shown that all phobias towards Russia are phobias towards Serbs as well.
Volyn had announced last March that his country would not join NATO, even if it remained the last country in Europe not a member of the alliance.
