Sarah-Lee Heinrich at the Federal Green Youth Congress: "Massive and many death threats"

The newly elected federal spokeswoman for the Green Youth, Sarah-Lee Heinrich, avoids the public for a few days.
"Sarah-Lee Heinrich is currently experiencing massive and many death threats," said the Green Youth office on Monday.
"Before she comments, she'll withdraw for a few days for her own safety."
Heinrich, she was elected as the new chairman on Saturday at the Federal Green Youth Congress.
She received 93.84 percent of the vote in Erfurt and will in future lead the association together with Timon Dzienus.
On this occasion, political opponents distributed old, sometimes insulting or politically sensitive Twitter posts by Heinrich, who is now 20 years old, sometimes without mentioning the date of the posts.
Most of these came from 2014 and 2015, when Heinrich was 13 or 14 years old.
She immediately apologized for a tweet.
"I just became aware of a tweet in which my account commented› Heil ‹under a tweet with a swastika in 2015," wrote the 20-year-old on Twitter on Sunday.
"That was extremely stupid and inappropriate."
She is part of an anti-fascist youth organization.

I'm really sorry that I ever posted a tweet like this. ”The tweet has since been deleted.
Heinrich spoke with a view to spreading the tweets as an attempt by right-wing political opponents to pull shitstorms against them.
"What is deliberately removed from the screenshots of tweets: They are from 2014/2015," she criticized.
"I was 13/14 years old then."
She demanded: »Measure me and like to criticize me for my positions and my political work.
I'm not going to declare myself to everything that I once thought and said when I was 14, I don't ask anyone to do that either. "
Heinrich received great support from their party.
"Congratulations to you, lots of strength and energy for your new task," wrote Britta Haßelmann, the first parliamentary manager of the green parliamentary group: "And be assured, there is a lot of support and solidarity for you."
The Deputy Green Chairwoman Jamila Schäfer commented: "Simply disgusting, the absurd accusations she is exposed to because of ancient tweets for which she has already apologized."
The SPD politician Sawsan Chebli wrote on Twitter: “Many of US know what you are currently experiencing only too well.
Do not let it get you.
You are great the way you are. "
