Starnberg - On Saturday, District Administrator Stefan Frey opened the 37th Starnberg district in Leutstettener Moos together with BLSV district chairman Walter Moser. “It is important that we offer the district of Lauf Light again this year in order to motivate people to stay active in sports. It's a super great event, ”said Frey at the start. Late registrations for spontaneous teams are still possible until October 14th. The team captain must report the names and times using the runner list form at www.landkreislauf-starnberg.de by October 17th, 6 p.m. at the latest.
District Administrator Stefan Frey has already run the first few laps with part of his team.
In great autumn weather we went through the Leutstettener Moos.
“Running together, albeit on a small scale, is good for you and motivates you all the more,” enthused Frey and already dares to take a look. “Next year we will definitely be back live with all the participants at the start in Andechs.
I am looking forward to that!
"
Due to the current situation, the running event cannot take place this year in the usual form, a relay race in teams in one place.
That is why there is also the district Light this year.
This is intended to motivate people to be active in sports, to improve their fitness and health and to have a common goal as a team.
From October 9th to 17th, a team of six runners will complete the total distance of 24 kilometers.
The route is divided into two by five, two by four and two by three kilometers.
There is a new trial run for children under 10 years of age (born in 2012 and younger).
There are six children in a team, each running 800 meters.
The team members can run their pre-agreed route during the specified period, at any location, at any time.
Each team is responsible for measuring the distance and time.
There are already 156 teams registered.
