But Schwaig was by no means shocked, but continued to play courageously forward. This commitment was rewarded in the 39th minute: Maxi Hellinger played a beautiful pass into the depths to Ascher, which Burhan Bahdir could only stop with a foul in the penalty area. Referee Xaver Fabisch immediately decided on a penalty, but then made a mistake that had serious consequences from Schwaiger's point of view. He did not give the yellow card to the Bahdir who had already been warned, but to Nils Ehret, who was nearby.So the guests were allowed to continue playing with the full band instead of one man. Ascher did not let himself be disturbed by the wrong decision and converted the penalty as usual. And Ascher went one minute later: after a nice cross from Markus Strasser, he pushed the ball in from two meters to make it 3-2.
In the 44th minute, Franz Hornof showed a brilliant parade in the Schwaiger goal. After a cross, he steered a ball, cleared by Hannes Empl in great distress, just over the crossbar and thus held the short break.
After the change, it took just two minutes for the guests from Unterföhring to equalize. A Schwaiger defender slipped, so that Nikola Negic ran up to Hornof alone on the left wing and gave the Schwaiger keeper no chance to defend himself. This hit had an effect, and the technically strong guests now took command. In the 57th minute they took the lead 4-3: After a corner kick from the left, Robin Volland, the brother of international Kevin Volland, scored a dream goal. While running backwards, he beheaded the ball with the back of his head against the direction of Hornof's movement, bringing his colors to the front again. Only two minutes later Volland was back on the spot and pushed the ball over the line from six meters after a sharp pass from the right side to make it 5: 3.But Schwaig did not give up and now threw everything forward. After a nice combination in midfield, Vincent Sommer sent Ricardo Maier on the right wing on the trip, but Maier's shot jumped from the lower edge of the crossbar back into the field.
Only two minutes later, the hero team was unlucky again.
After a blocked header, the ball came to Sommer, whose volley hit the left inside post.
